1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. Alongside cookies, there are similar technologies: browser local storage (localStorage) and service workers. This policy describes all such technologies used on bce-monitoring.be.
2. Our approach
3. Technologies used
| Technology | Purpose | Duration / type |
|---|---|---|
| Local storage "theme" | Remember your display preference (light/dark theme) | Persistent, on your device, not transmitted |
| Service worker | Caching for offline operation (PWA) and speed | Persistent, no personal data |
These elements fall under the consent exemptions for functionality that is strictly necessary or explicitly requested by the user.
4. Web fonts
The "Inter" font is hosted and served directly by bce-monitoring.be. Loading it makes no request to any third-party service (Google or other) and sets no cookie.
5. Managing or deleting this data
You can clear local storage and the cache at any time via your browser settings ("Site data" or "Privacy" section), or by using private browsing. Disabling local storage only affects the storage of your theme preference.
6. Changes
Should we introduce cookies subject to consent in future (e.g. third-party audience measurement), we would implement a consent banner and update this policy.
